As a client of Get Hired Pro, you are choosing a highly customized and personal career assistance service. The resume writing and cover letter process is centered on helping clients differentiate themselves from the competition by highlighting their unique attributes and contributions to productivity and profitability. Employers want to know how you can help their business and this is achieved by highlighting examples of your past successes rather than focusing on your daily tasks. 

How does the resume writing process work?

The client agrees that if they are having a resume prepared that he/she will email a copy of their current resume (not required if a resume is being developed from scratch) and complete a resume questionnaire. The reason this document is required is to ensure your work history and professional accomplishments are thoroughly captured in order to prepare the strongest marketing piece. Upon completion and receipt of the completed questionnaire, a 45-60 minute phone consultation will be scheduled to review the resume and completed questionnaire. Prior to the phone consultation, full payment is required. An invoice will be emailed to you via PayPal. The timeframe for resume delivery will be mutually agreed upon but no sooner than 2-3 days. Clients are encouraged to review the resume draft in detail and note any questions, concerns or edits directly onto the document (preferably using the Track Changes feature in Word). In most cases, edits will be completed via an email exchange. Two full edit revisions on the draft will be accepted. Further edits will be charged according to an hourly rate of $55.00. The two rounds of edits must be made within 30 days of receiving the first draft. 

How does the cover letter and biography writing process? 

The cover letter and biography writing process follows all of the same terms and conditions listed above, except, a resume questionnaire will not be required. Clients will email a copy of their current resume and a phone consultation will be scheduled upon receipt of the cover letter/biography fee. 

What does the client receive with personalized career coaching?

Prior to the career consultation, clients are encouraged to send preparatory information including but not limited to, current resume, samples of job postings and a listing of desired outcomes from the meeting. An invoice will be emailed to you before the meeting. Payment is due prior to the meeting.

What is the process for LinkedIn profile development?

LinkedIn profile development is essential to a successful job search. Profiles will be developed as part of a resume writing package or as a stand-alone purchase. As part of a resume package, the LinkedIn fee will be incorporated into the payment request sent prior to the resume phone consultation. As a stand-alone purchase a resume is required prior to our discussion. After reviewing the resume, a 20-minute phone consultation will be scheduled to discuss your desired web presence. Policies for LinkedIn profile development follow the same standards listed above for payment and edits. The Linkedin profile will be delivered on a Word template that can be cut and pasted into your Linkedin profile. Clients are encouraged to review the profile draft in detail and note any questions, concerns or edits directly onto the document (preferably using the Track Changes feature in Word) Once final edits have been completed, a tips sheet will be sent, which includes strategies for optimizing your Linkedin profile and networking strategies on Linkedin to guide you in your job search.  

Please note there are no refunds on completed projects. However, I will do my best to work through any edits or concerns with each client.
